Global Bankruptcy Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create precise bankruptcy schedules for Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases, ensuring all financial information is efficiently gathered and organized.

• Collaborate with clients to retrieve any missing details and verify the accuracy of documentation.

• Aid in the preparation of monthly operating reports, first-day motions, and other essential motions for Chapter 11 cases.

• Monitor and adhere to critical deadlines while fulfilling case requirements in a timely manner.

• Keep detailed records in legal and bankruptcy management systems.

• Recognize and resolve documentation discrepancies, following up with clients and team members as necessary.

• Facilitate accurate and timely case preparation and advancement while coordinating with attorneys regarding legal inquiries and filing obligations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in U.S. debtor-side bankruptcy, particularly in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases.

• Demonstrated capability to independently prepare comprehensive bankruptcy schedules with minimal oversight.

• High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to financial documentation and case specifications.

• Strong ability to juggle multiple competing deadlines and manage caseloads effectively.

• Familiarity with Best Case Bankruptcy Software and legal case management systems, such as Clio, is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
