This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +13 more states.
• Make outbound calls to patients who are eligible for adherence-based programs.
• Offer personalized support to patients dealing with prescription inventory shortages or issues with medication adherence.
• Resolve patient concerns, troubleshoot problems, and provide suitable solutions.
• Assess clinical support requirements and escalate calls to Pharmacists as needed.
• Process patient prescription requests in accordance with HIPAA regulations and enter refill orders for processing.
• Document patient information, interactions, call outcomes, program enrollments, and updates in computer systems, software, and databases.
• Ensure confidentiality and adhere to patient privacy laws and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance programs and improve patient-centric services.
• Recognize and communicate issues to senior management.
• Engage with the team lead and supervisor through huddles, team meetings, cohort refreshers, and technology updates.
• Assist retail pharmacy customer relations initiatives, including Medicare medication-adherence outreach, healthcare-program order placement, and retail pharmacy support.
• Participate in cross-training for additional clinical support and Retail Customer Care programs.
• Must be a resident of Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Maine, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, or Washington for regulatory compliance.
• Hold an active Pharmacy Technician license in your state of residence.
• Able to acquire a Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license by submitting an application and fee; this requires tech education from a Florida Board-approved training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail healthcare, ideally in a high-volume call center environment.
• At least one consecutive year of experience in customer service.
• Must maintain a consistent, reliable, and stable internet connection.
• Internal candidates must be in good standing to be eligible for consideration.
• A verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Previous experience in a Call Center setting.
• Experience working remotely is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Windows-based applications and MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
