This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece, +4 more countries.
• Address inquiries related to medical information, product quality issues, and general questions received via phone, email, fax, and other communication channels.
• Log, track, and report Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) within designated timelines following regulations and internal WI/SOPs.
• Implement drug safety data management procedures, which include intake calls, documentation of discussions, peer review, and case follow-ups.
• Carry out and assist with assigned tasks, such as monitoring information and metrics, maintaining ongoing quality control of defined process steps, training, and reconciling data from various sources.
• Take ownership of the quality of processed data.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required or assigned.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, or a related field, along with 1–2 years of safety experience.
• BS/BA with 1–2 years of safety experience.
• MA/MS/PharmD with 1–2 years of safety experience.
• Associate degree accompanied by 3–4 years of relevant experience or 2 years of safety experience.
• Non-degree candidates with 4–5 years of relevant experience or 2 years of safety experience will also be considered.
• Fortrea may accept relevant and equivalent experience in place of educational qualifications.
• Experience in safety, including the processing of AE/SAE reports, creation of narratives and queries, familiarity with safety databases, and regulatory submissions.
• Relevant background in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO sectors, including related fields such as Medical Affairs, Clinical Data Entry, Clinical Data Management, Clinical Data Monitoring, Regulatory Affairs, or Quality Assurance.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to manage inbound and outbound calls effectively.
• Skill in analyzing and synthesizing medical information.
• Sound understanding of regulatory standards, best practices in Pharmacovigilance, and ICH GCP guidelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.
• High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member.
• Capability to work independently with moderate supervision.
• Experience in call center operations is preferred.
• Preferred academic disciplines include Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, and Chemistry.
