Tech Lead – Software Engineering Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Provide technical guidance to the team by supporting software architecture and design choices.

• Develop key features, review pull requests, and uphold best practices encompassing clean code, testing, and observability.

• Lead the advancement of the architecture, including microservices, APIs, and integrations.

• Collaborate with Product to clarify requirements and prioritize the technical backlog.

• Mentor developers and assist in their professional growth.

• Ensure the performance, security, scalability, and reliability of the solutions.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and DevOps.

• Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Business teams to enhance the platform and improve quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Tech Lead, Technical Lead, or technical authority within product teams.

• Practical experience in backend or full-stack development within a high-availability setting.

• In-depth knowledge of software architecture, including REST APIs, microservices, messaging, and both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with contemporary engineering practices such as automated testing, CI/CD, code review, and monitoring.

• Capability to convert business needs into straightforward, scalable technical solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Preferred: Previous experience working at digital product companies or scale-ups.

• Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and with DevOps/SRE methodologies.

• Preferred: Background in event-driven architecture and highly scalable systems.

• Preferred: Involvement in product decisions and technical discovery.

• Preferred: Contributions to the community through open source projects, talks, articles, or mentoring.
