Tech Lead – Node.js, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Lead and guide a team of developers.

• Actively engage in the design, development, and upkeep of cutting-edge software solutions.

• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to establish technical requirements and specifications.

• Create scalable system architectures.

• Guarantee the quality and performance of the codebase.

• Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.

• Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Node.js development.

• Balance leadership responsibilities with technical expertise within a self-organized environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Node.js development.

• Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript, along with a profound knowledge of Node.js.

• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Familiarity with GraphQL.

• Solid understanding of AWS and/or GCP.

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

• Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a background in mentoring and providing technical support to developers.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities, including the ability to identify and address performance bottlenecks.

• Commitment to best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.

• Capability to work effectively in a collaborative and agile setting.

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) for daily interactions with international teams.

• Must be based in Portugal.
