Tech Lead, .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Define and communicate the technical direction of the team

• Make decisions regarding application architecture, service design, system integration, and the evolution of .NET solutions

• Design, develop, and scale services and applications using .NET Framework 4.7+ and .NET Core 6+

• Participate in architectural decisions across teams and services

• Establish integration standards, API contracts, dependency management, and system evolution strategies

• Design and review solutions based on microservices and distributed systems

• Create and review technical documentation, RFCs, and design proposals

• Communicate technical trade-offs and architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Resolve complex technical issues, including debugging in production environments

• Lead code reviews and design reviews

• Mentor engineers of various levels

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering Managers to translate business objectives into technical plans

• Ensure standards for testing, CI/CD, security, error handling, observability, and AI-assisted development

• Drive the modernization of applications and reduction of technical debt

• Design, implement, and evolve solutions with SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, IIS, Nginx/Kestrel, and containers

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with .NET Framework (4.7+) and .NET Core (6 or above)

• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems

• Configuration and optimization of Windows servers (IIS, CI/CD pipelines)

• Configuration and deployment of .NET Core applications on Linux (Nginx, Kestrel, containers)

• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)

• Experience with RESTful APIs, versioning, and security (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect)

• Experience with messaging systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalents

• Knowledge of observability: monitoring, centralized logs, and metrics (Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana)

• Experience with Cloud Computing on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP

• Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions)

• Advanced or fluent English and/or Spanish for communication with international partners

• Advanced Portuguese is desirable

• Experience with functional programming languages: Erlang, Elixir, or Rust is a plus

• Knowledge of containers (Docker) and orchestrators (Kubernetes) is a plus

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is a plus

• Certifications in Microsoft Azure or AWS are a plus

• Experience with Event Sourcing and data streaming is a plus
