Tech Lead – Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead, inspire, and cultivate the engineering team through individual meetings, personal development plans, and additional follow-up initiatives.

• Evaluate technical feasibility, outline, plan, and execute new features.

• Make informed technical choices and address complex challenges.

• Uphold departmental standards and practices, guiding the team in converting business logic into high-quality code.

• Comprehend and discuss issues and proposed solutions, striving for the optimal technical resolution.

• Review and endorse the code produced by the team, offering feedback and sharing accountability for the team's outputs.

• Assist in breaking down substantial deliverables into manageable, cohesive increments.

• Oversee the solution in production, assessing errors, performance, and availability.

• Monitor market trends, pinpoint opportunities for innovation, and steer the adoption of solutions that enhance growth and competitiveness.

• Collaborate on enhancements or the creation of new standards for the Engineering knowledge base.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in web development.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.

• Background in continuous integration and continuous delivery practices, along with automated testing.

• Proficient in frameworks, libraries, and tools such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, and others.

• Understanding of software architecture, principles, and design patterns.

• Knowledge in structuring scalable, modular, and high-performance systems.

• Skills in conflict management, decision-making, assertive communication, and strategic thinking.

• Enthusiasm for working with Java and providing technical guidance to the team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).

• Advanced knowledge of Spring or Grails (preferred).

• Courses focused on solution architecture (preferred).
