Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the entire software engineering lifecycle, from design and development to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance in production.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to clarify and enhance feature requirements.

• Lead architectural decisions that prioritize scalable and maintainable solutions.

• Set up monitoring, alerting, and support processes.

• Mentor and guide junior developers in their growth.

• Engage in code reviews with a focus on quality, security, and performance.

• Diagnose production issues and take part in incident response activities.

• Design, develop, and sustain full-stack applications utilizing Python, Flask, FastAPI, AWS, Angular, and SQL databases.

• Enhance application performance and tackle complex technical challenges.

• Stay updated on industry trends and promote beneficial emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Demonstrable success in end-to-end feature ownership and delivery within production settings.

• Familiarity with contemporary frameworks, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Capability to convert business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

• Experience in managing both development and operational facets of software.

• Strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement, optimization, and innovation.

• Previous experience in a senior role mentoring or guiding team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Authorization to work in the jurisdiction where the candidate will be employed.
