Tech Lead, Dynamics 365 CRM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Define technical goals, workflows, and architecture for the D365 CRM development team.

• Foster the engineering culture.

• Engage in hands-on development of plugins, custom APIs, integrations, and intricate technical features.

• Perform code reviews and set coding standards.

• Ensure the sustainability of plugins, JavaScript extensions, PCF controls, and Power Automate flows.

• Oversee the technical architecture of solution layers, managed solutions, publisher prefixes, and ALM pipelines within Azure DevOps.

• Maintain a clear differentiation between customization and pro-code development.

• Design and implement integrations with external systems, covering API design through to authentication.

• Document architectural choices in Architecture Decision Records and ensure they are binding for the team.

• Approve technical solution strategies from tandem refinement.

• Manage the technical components of monthly production releases, including release planning and the hotfix process.

• Mentor and facilitate the professional growth of senior, mid-level, and junior developers.

• Represent the team in cross-functional architecture forums and provide technical insights on architectural matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience developing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform.

• Profound knowledge of plugins and custom APIs (C#/.NET), JavaScript/TypeScript (Xrm Client API), Power Automate, and the Dataverse data model.

• Extensive experience with solution layering and ALM.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across multiple environments utilizing Azure DevOps, Git, and pull request-based workflows.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing integrations with third-party systems (REST/Web APIs, Azure Functions, Service Bus).

• Proficient with the Azure portal in the context of D365.

• Familiarity with app registrations and service principals (Microsoft Entra ID).

• Experience in secrets management using Azure Key Vault.

• Experience with monitoring through Application Insights.

• Expertise in designing and assessing cloud architectures within the Microsoft Azure framework.

• Background in technical leadership as a Tech Lead, Lead Developer, or equivalent mentoring role.

• Capability to make, document, and champion architectural decisions with the team and stakeholders.

• Fluent communication skills in both German and English (minimum C1+).

• Residing in Germany or Austria.

• Experience with PCF controls, preferably using React, is advantageous.

• Microsoft certification PL-400 or PL-600 is preferred.

• Familiarity with FakeXrmEasy or other testing frameworks for the Power Platform is preferred.

• Functional experience with D365 Sales and Customer Insights (Journeys/Data) is a plus.
