Senior FullStack Engineer, Consumer Lending

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable backend microservices within the Consumer Lending team.

• Create and manage infrastructure capable of processing millions of daily requests while ensuring security and performance.

• Utilize Google Cloud services and industry-standard tools to develop and maintain distributed systems.

• Work collaboratively with product, operations, compliance, and other business units to provide financial solutions.

• Mentor junior developers and advocate for engineering best practices.

• Leverage user feedback and system analytics to enhance and iterate on platform functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

• Proficient or advanced in English.

• Demonstrated success in building, launching, and iterating software applications, especially in the Fintech sector.

• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• Experience in designing and implementing web services, including REST APIs.

• Knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, A/B Testing, Feature Flags, and Gradual Rollouts.

• Experience in developing and maintaining payment systems, financial disbursement solutions, or compliance-driven platforms is highly beneficial.

• Understanding of security protocols, compliance standards, and KYC/AML processes.

• Enthusiasm for creating products that significantly impact millions.

• Dedication to ongoing learning and keeping up with emerging technologies.

• Strong collaboration and prioritization abilities in a team-oriented environment.

• Curiosity or experience in Fintech is a plus; equivalent skills will also be considered.

• Familiarity or eagerness to learn technologies such as React, HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Python, Flask/FastAPI, REST APIs, Redis, SQL, gRPC, Google Cloud services, Kubernetes, Terraform, NewRelic, and PagerDuty.
