This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance the next-generation Research Platform.

• Engage with various technologies including Python, Databricks, Java, and web frameworks.

• Manage projects throughout the complete software lifecycle, encompassing design, architecture, prototyping, development, release, iteration, and monitoring.

• Create new systems and enhance existing ones, from minor adjustments to major initiatives.

• Collaborate on enterprise risk calculation engines and tools for private fund analytics and benchmarking.

• Partner with researchers and product managers to define the strategic direction of the platform.

• Lead significant architectural initiatives.

• Mentor fellow team members.

• Disseminate knowledge through design and code reviews.

• Develop resilient, high-throughput systems that assist institutional investors in managing risk across global portfolios.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Proficiency in Python or Java.

• Experience in designing and managing production systems.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Applicants based in the United States must have legal authorization to work for any employer without the need for current or future visa sponsorship and must be able to start work in the U.S. on the first day.

• Applicants from other countries must possess legal authorization to work in the location of the role on the first day; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Experience with Databricks, Spark, or other large-scale data processing is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience in web application development is beneficial but not essential.

• Familiarity with financial data, risk analytics, or investment principles is helpful but not required.
