Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and deploy full stack applications utilizing React and Node.js.

• Construct and manage robust, scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end UIs integrated with system APIs.

• Ensure code adheres to industry best practices, coding standards, and documentation requirements.

• Write and uphold automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like Jest and Playwright.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and DevOps teams effectively.

• Architect and implement secure, high-performance systems using contemporary DevSecOps practices.

• Refactor and modernize legacy systems while ensuring business continuity.

• Keep abreast of web technologies, AI-assisted development tools, and industry trends.

• Engage in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated experience with Node.js and React in creating production-grade applications.

• Proficient in HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as SCSS/LESS.

• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Understanding of modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.

• Knowledge of cloud-native development and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with data layers such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Strong grasp of software architecture, SOLID principles, and security best practices.

• Familiarity with observability tools like OpenTelemetry and Prometheus, as well as logging frameworks.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to take ownership of features from design through to deployment.

• Experience with GraphQL is a plus.

• Experience integrating or utilizing AI/ML tools such as GitHub Copilot and OpenAI API is a plus.
