Tech Lead, Android Core Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of significant features and collaborate closely with the design team to ensure the delivery of high-quality functionalities.

• Influence the direction of the Android team.

• Manage, maintain, and enhance reliability metrics for key features.

• Engage in discussions across Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

• Review pull requests and provide support to fellow team members.

• Address critical issues and navigate unexpected challenges effectively.

• Take charge of feature releases and deliver nightly builds for the QA team.

• Participate in multiple technical interviews, with the goal of completion within one week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Familiarity with Android components.

• Experience in building or contributing to at least one Android application.

• Strong product design intuition and user empathy.

• Motivation to push the limits of Android UI/UX.

• Understanding of the significance of testing and how to approach writing tests.

• Self-motivated to enhance the app and codebase beyond the specifications outlined.

• Solid experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.

• Exceptional communication skills.
