Tech Lead, Android Core Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of key features and collaborate closely with the design team to ensure the delivery of top-notch functionalities within the app.

• Play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the Android team.

• Manage, maintain, and enhance reliability metrics for essential features.

• Engage in discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

• Review pull requests and provide support to team members.

• Address critical issues and navigate unexpected challenges.

• Oversee feature releases and supply nightly builds for the QA team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience.

• Knowledge of Android components.

• Experience in developing or contributing to at least one Android application.

• Intuition for product design and a strong sense of user empathy.

• A desire to push the limits of Android UI/UX.

• Awareness of the significance of testing and a methodical approach to writing tests.

• Self-motivation to enhance the app and codebase beyond the specifications provided.

• Proven expertise in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.

• Strong communication abilities.

• A user-focused problem-solving mindset.

• Motivation driven by continuous feedback from leadership.

• Submission of portfolio and LinkedIn links with the application is required.
