Tech Lead, Android Core Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of significant features and collaborate closely with the design team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality functionalities.

• Influence the future direction of the Android team.

• Manage, maintain, and enhance reliability metrics for essential features.

• Engage in discussions across Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

• Review pull requests and provide support to fellow teammates.

• Address critical issues and navigate unexpected challenges effectively.

• Assume responsibility for feature releases and deliver nightly builds for the QA team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience.

• Familiarity with Android components.

• Experience in building or contributing to at least one Android application.

• A strong intuition for product design and empathy for users.

• Motivation to extend the boundaries of Android UI/UX.

• An understanding of the significance of tests and strategies for writing them.

• A self-driven approach to enhancing the app and codebase beyond the specifications.

• Extensive experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.

• Exceptional communication skills.
