Tech Lead, Android Core Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of significant app features and collaborate closely with the design team to deliver top-notch functionalities.

• Influence the direction of the Android team.

• Manage, maintain, and enhance reliability metrics for essential features.

• Engage in discussions that span Product, Design, and Engineering.

• Review pull requests and provide support to team members.

• Address critical issues and navigate unexpected challenges.

• Oversee feature releases and supply nightly builds for Quality Assurance.

• Conduct multiple technical interviews within the designated one-week interview timeframe.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Knowledge of Android components.

• Experience in developing or contributing to at least one Android application.

• An intuitive understanding of product design and user empathy.

• A strong desire to push the limits of Android UI/UX.

• Familiarity with testing methodologies and how to effectively write tests.

• A proactive approach to enhancing the app and codebase beyond the initial specifications.

• Proficient experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.

• Strong communication skills.

• A user-focused problem-solving mindset.
