Teamlead Client & Server Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the IT Operations team consisting of 10 internal employees, including an apprentice.

• Promotion and development of employees.

• Accountability for client lifecycle management and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace and security tools.

• Ensuring the stable, secure, and future-oriented operation of central IT services.

• Responsibility for server systems, virtualization, storage, Active Directory, backup, monitoring, and future cloud-based services.

• Coordination and management of external service providers.

• Accountability for the timely implementation of projects and tasks within server, cloud, automation, and platform services environments.

• Support for departmental management in budget planning and adherence to budget.

• Ensuring and advancing ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of relevant professional experience in the operation of hybrid IT infrastructures (On-Premises & Cloud), ideally in a leadership or coordinating role.

• Solid technical understanding of central IT services, particularly client management, collaboration solutions, servers, cloud, and IT security.

• Experience in leading and developing employees.

• Strong understanding of appreciative and motivating collaboration.

• Structured, self-responsible, and solution-oriented work approach.

• Organizational talent and ability to coordinate and implement complex projects and tasks on time.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• High team and service orientation.

• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
