This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee performance engineering, monitoring, scalability planning, and optimization across global Teamcenter PLM environments.
• Ensure system responsiveness, high availability, proactive monitoring, root cause analysis, capacity planning, and ongoing performance enhancements.
• Establish performance baselines, key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and system health metrics.
• Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Analyze Teamcenter transactions, including user login, search, BOM expansion, dataset downloads, workflow processing, and visualization tasks.
• Detect and resolve bottlenecks across application, infrastructure, storage, and database layers.
• Propel continuous enhancements of system response times and overall user experience.
• Support and optimize Teamcenter's 2-tier and 4-tier architectures, Active Workspace, Enterprise Tier, Server Manager/Pool Manager, FSC/FMS, Dispatcher, and Multi-Site implementations.
• Facilitate architecture reviews and performance evaluations.
• Suggest infrastructure and configuration enhancements for improved scalability and availability.
• Lead intricate performance investigations and cross-functional analyses across Teamcenter, databases, storage, networks, and operating systems.
• Publish reports on root cause analyses and recommend preventive actions.
• Drive the resolution of recurring performance issues.
• Extensive experience in Teamcenter performance architecture and enterprise-scale PLM deployments.
• Proficient in Teamcenter's 2-tier, 4-tier, and web architectures.
• Familiarity with Active Workspace, Enterprise Tier, FSC/FMS, Dispatcher, and Multi-Site architecture.
• Knowledgeable in BMIDE, security model, TEM, and Deployment Center.
• Experience with upgrades, migrations, patch management, and environment refreshes.
• Capable of performance baselining and defining SLAs/KPIs.
• Skilled in load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Conduct transaction analyses covering login, search, BOM, JT, and downloads.
• Expertise in isolating bottlenecks across application, database, network, and storage layers.
• Proficient in capacity planning, sizing, and creating performance improvement roadmaps.
• Experienced with Teamcenter Performance Monitor (TPM) and synthetic transactions.
• Proficient in using Nagios, Splunk, Grafana, and Power BI dashboards.
• Familiar with JMX, process/service health monitoring, and log correlation.
• Knowledgeable in Oracle SQL tuning, execution plans, AWR/ASH, and database statistics.
• Experienced with Tomcat/WebSphere, connection pools, and JVM analysis.
• Competent in Linux/Windows performance diagnostics.
• Skilled in analyzing CPU, memory, disk I/O, storage latency, and network performance.
• Knowledgeable in high availability, disaster recovery, and load balancing techniques.
