Senior Staff Data, Information Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the architecture, reliability, performance, security, and lifecycle management of enterprise E-Business Suite database platforms.

• Provide leadership and support as the EBS DBA for critical ERP environments hosted in Oracle Cloud across global sites operating 24/7.

• Lead and mentor the Oracle EBS DBA vendor team.

• Establish processes for data governance and issue management.

• Collaborate with application operations, product development, and infrastructure teams to deliver EBS DBA services that are highly available, secure, and cost-effective.

• Develop strategies related to data, analytics, and business metrics.

• Implement enterprise data strategies in conjunction with Digital IT leadership.

• Program manage, track progress, and oversee functional delivery alongside cross-functional teams, management, and stakeholders.

• Deploy digital technology products to fulfill business functionality requirements.

• Streamline operational cycle times and promote simplification through automation.

• Manage architectural and operational activities to efficiently utilize ERP compute infrastructure and provide long-term business benefits.

• Stay current with information technology trends and evaluate emerging technologies for their business value.

• Engage in budget management, financial planning, and other business-related activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in a technical field (Architecture, Software, or Information Technology).

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Application DBA supporting infrastructure, database, and technology stack components for E-Business Suite platforms within a large global organization.

• A minimum of 5 years leading DBA support/projects for substantial Oracle ERP systems.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related discipline.

• Proficiency in Oracle EBS 12.2.3 or higher, including installations, configurations, Apps DBA, Sysadmin tasks, PSU/CPU patching, Backup/Restore/Cloning, Autonomous Database, and the EBS NextGen Technology stack.

• Experience with Oracle EBS Maximum Availability Architecture, data archiving/reorganization, Oracle IDCS, Fusion Middleware for ECC/Demantra, DNS configurations, Java certificates, encryption keys, and SFTP configurations.

• Familiarity with setting up EBS integrations such as AppWorx, PPM, PVCS, and Oracle Application Express.

• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

• Expertise in Web Server management with Fusion Middleware 12 and 14 for EBS/Apex/IDCS Asserter/ECC/Demantra.

• Experience in custom application maintenance and management, covering installations, problem analysis, resolution, configuration, and performance tuning.

• Proficient in Unix shell and PL/SQL scripting for database, application, backup/restore, and clone management.

• Understanding of change management processes within a large IT context.

• Familiarity with iterative development methodologies.

• Strong verbal, written, listening, interpersonal, customer-focused, and relationship-building skills.
