Senior Software and System Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture for cloud networking, encompassing orchestration, provisioning, and security solutions.

• Create cutting-edge system architecture for DPU and NIC technologies.

• Develop comprehensive solutions that span from the application level to hardware.

• Produce clear, effective, and reliable architecture specifications.

• Assess emerging technologies and swiftly create proof-of-concept prototypes for complete products and solutions.

• Collaborate with NVIDIA's software and hardware architects, as well as R&D, product, solution architecture, application, and field engineering teams globally.

• Engage with prestigious clients on advanced and future technologies and solutions.

• Investigate new technologies centered on architecture definition in networking, security, virtualization, and orchestration.

• Outline the future cloud solution stack, from hardware to application level, which includes orchestration, provisioning, network programmability, and SDN.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.Sc/M.Sc/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Architect/System Architect.

• At least 4 years of experience as a Software Developer.

• Profound knowledge and experience in C and Python programming.

• Practical experience with Linux development, Docker, and container-based technologies.

• Background in cloud and Data Center networking.

• Extensive knowledge of networking protocols and common network topologies.

• Strong skills in design, coding, analysis, debugging, and problem-solving.

• Capability to work concurrently with multiple teams both locally and internationally within the organization.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation abilities.

• Development experience with networking/security devices such as NICs, DPUs, switches, routers, and firewalls (notable advantage).

• Experience with DPDK, OVS, and OVN (notable advantage).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes components and subsystems, CRDs, Operators, system plugins, and CNI plugin development, including Calico and Flannel (notable advantage).

• Experience with OpenStack/OpenShift and/or Cloud APIs (notable advantage).

• Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible (notable advantage).
