This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Lead and cultivate a cross-functional team focused on Instructor-Led Training, comprising Training Architects, Operations Managers, and Schedulers.

• Establish the enterprise training strategy, operational framework, governance, tools, and processes essential for scaling Pearson’s live training business.

• Ensure Training Architects collaborate with clients to grasp learning needs, participant profiles, timelines, content specifications, and delivery expectations.

• Oversee operational transitions, instructor scheduling, coordination with external trainers, class readiness, delivery logistics, and post-training follow-up.

• Manage team utilization, capacity planning, workload distribution, staffing requirements, and delivery priorities in alignment with customer demand and revenue goals.

• Evaluate training offerings, identify new opportunities, and create training solutions tailored for enterprise clients.

• Provide Sales and Go-to-Market teams with comprehensive details on training offerings, qualification guidance, positioning, delivery assumptions, and customer value messaging.

• Track customer satisfaction, learner feedback, instructor performance, delivery risks, operational metrics, and opportunities for repeat business.

• Act as an escalation point for strategic customer issues, delivery risks, scheduling challenges, instructor concerns, and needs for cross-functional alignment.

• Utilize data and reporting to enhance utilization, delivery quality, customer experience, revenue contribution, and scalability.

• Develop repeatable playbooks, templates, dashboards, and best practices to ensure consistent delivery of enterprise training.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading training, learning services, professional services, customer delivery, or training operations within an enterprise business context.

• Experience managing cross-functional teams that focus on solution design, operations, scheduling, customer delivery, and overall business performance.

• Strong understanding of instructor-led training or virtual instructor-led training operations.

• Experience working directly with enterprise clients to identify business needs, define training requirements, align stakeholders, and achieve successful outcomes.

• Background in designing Learning plans that may incorporate live training alongside other learning modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to manage utilization, capacity planning, performance metrics, operational priorities, and revenue expectations.

• Experience in creating or scaling training offerings, service portfolios, delivery models, playbooks, dashboards, tools, or operational processes.

• Strong commercial acumen and ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Customer Success, Content, Product, Finance, Delivery, and external partners.

• Exceptional executive communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and relevant professional experience.

• Preferred: experience in enterprise learning, workforce skilling, technology training, education technology, professional certification, or customer-facing learning services.

• Preferred: familiarity with AI skills, cybersecurity, and power skills.

• Preferred: experience managing distributed or global teams across various time zones and regions.

• Preferred: experience with external instructors, training vendors, authorized training partners, or networks of contract trainers.

• Preferred: experience supporting sales teams, go-to-market planning, or developing customer-facing training collateral.

• Preferred: knowledge of proposals, statements of work, pricing inputs, utilization targets, revenue growth, margin considerations, or business cases.

• Preferred: familiarity with training platforms, learning management systems, scheduling tools, CRM systems, reporting dashboards, or resource management systems.
