This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Lead a team of departmental personnel and supervise workload management and the achievement of operational goals.
• Offer guidance regarding work processes, procedures, and issue resolution.
• Oversee daily workload and ensure the execution of team objectives and expectations.
• Cultivate a positive, accountable, and collaborative team environment.
• Act as the main point of contact for operational updates and escalations, including interactions with customers.
• Ensure that employees receive proper training and respond to inquiries in a professional, courteous, prompt, and accurate manner.
• Provide continuous coaching, developmental feedback, and conduct formal performance evaluations.
• Set performance objectives and track progress with both departmental and cross-functional teams.
• Identify and address any system or process deficiencies.
• Analyze trends, ascertain root causes, document and report issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct random audits and develop performance improvement plans as necessary.
• Create and execute both short- and long-term service goals once approved.
• Address escalated concerns from clients and customers.
• Represent the department in corporate initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (when required), or at least 7 years of experience in a related area in place of a degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Background in membership, enrollment, health insurance operations, customer operations, or similar business functions.
• Experience guiding teams through transitions while sustaining operational performance.
• Proven ability to collaborate with various business areas and stakeholders.
• Skilled at presenting information to leadership, clients, or cross-functional groups.
