Team Lead, Project Management – New Energy Large-Scale Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the successful execution of large-scale New Energy projects (PV, BESS, EV charging infrastructure, and EMS), ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, quality, and safety standards.

• Provide functional leadership to a project management team while actively enhancing organizational structures and capabilities.

• Proactively identify, evaluate, and manage risks at both the project and portfolio levels.

• Act as the primary point of escalation for the team.

• Cultivate a solution-focused team culture in collaboration with related departments.

• Ensure adherence to policies and quality benchmarks.

• Actively encourage continuous learning within the team.

• Manage stakeholders effectively, including clients, grid operators, service providers, authorities, and internal planning teams, with a focus on results.

• Design, implement, and deliver insightful weekly status reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in engineering, industrial engineering, renewable energy, or a related technical field, coupled with a solid understanding of commercial principles.

• Several years of demonstrated professional experience in the technical execution of EPC projects within the commercial and industrial sectors.

• Extensive knowledge of rooftop PV systems.

• Proven track record in leading project teams functionally and disciplinarily.

• Enjoyment in actively developing new team structures.

• Strong hands-on approach.

• Excellent decision-making abilities.

• Capability to maintain composure and a strategic perspective during dynamic, high-pressure situations.

• Confident demeanor in technical negotiations with partners, investors, and authorities.

• Business-fluent in German.

• Fluent in English.
