This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist practice leadership in initiatives related to business development.
• Collaborate with client personnel to formulate mutually agreed-upon project plans.
• Act as the primary engagement leader on a daily basis and mentor team members.
• Oversee data collection, which includes analyzing client reports, conducting interviews, organizing focus groups, and administering surveys.
• Review findings with both team members and client personnel, facilitating the implementation of recommendations.
• Manage client invoicing, which entails reviewing and approving time entries and invoices.
• Spearhead internal practice initiatives, revenue channel development, proposal writing, recruitment, external marketing, and thought leadership.
• Exhibit expertise in the industry and consulting capabilities.
• Apply effective solutions to recognized issues.
• Articulate Harbor's capabilities, products, and service offerings across Advisory service lines.
• 7-8 years of experience in a mix of Big 4 or comparable consulting environments, law department or law firm operations, outside counsel management, benchmarking and data analysis, and legal resource optimization.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a department and its staff members.
• Domestic travel is required, approximately up to 25%.
• A BA, BBA, or BS in Business, Computer Science, MIS, Economics, Accounting, or Finance is preferred.
• Management experience in a collaborative team-oriented environment is preferred.
• Advanced skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
• Capability to manage multiple clients and projects, delegating tasks as necessary, is preferred.
• Highly developed organizational skills and the ability to prioritize various tasks according to timelines are preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail is preferred.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities are preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively and foster relationships is preferred.
• Skills in employee coaching and development are preferred.
• Intellectual curiosity and openness to feedback are preferred.
• Fully remote position that can be performed from anywhere in the United States.
