This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist in managing the daily operations of designated projects.
• Aid in the development, implementation, management, and attainment of operational goals for both clients and the company.
• Collaborate closely with team members, project supervisors, operations managers, and clients to identify business-process opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to client and company policies and procedures.
• Utilize knowledge of physician claims A/R follow-up.
• Provide support to both onshore and offshore team members.
• Mentor colleagues as needed.
• Assist staff and supervisors in promoting team success.
• Handle daily problem-solving and act as a point of contact for team inquiries.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews, offer feedback, and deliver training as required.
• Send official communications to team members, clients, and providers.
• Collaborate with other leads to formulate policies and procedures.
• Offer insights for mid-year and year-end employee evaluations to leadership.
• Organize team-building activities.
• Create, distribute, and oversee team members’ comprehension of work-related job aids.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with both company and client standards.
• Utilize relevant software and systems.
• Identify, validate, and report trends and issues related to projects.
• Update spreadsheets and track outstanding client items.
• Provide updates to leadership, clients, and the team.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma/GED or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of diploma/GED.
• 8+ years of pertinent experience in an office, business, operations, customer service, or healthcare environment.
• Working knowledge of insurance claims, billing, coding, follow-up, finance, accounting, or customer service responsibilities.
• Strong background in physician claims A/R.
• Proven proficiency in relevant revenue cycle processes with high production and quality standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff and clients.
• Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting relevant coding systems, including CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10, in a fast-paced setting.
• Proven leadership qualities that promote team cohesion, accountability, and high performance.
• Demonstrated ability in researching billing guidelines.
• Proven skills in providing training and mentoring to team members.
• Ability to serve as a role model for the team, office, and company.
