This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Lead a production-oriented team consisting of Operations Analysts and Credentialing Specialists.
• Manage day-to-day credentialing operations for the clients of the team.
• Enhance team performance, compliance, quality, and alignment with company goals.
• Take ownership of operational metrics regarding speed, quality, and efficiency, ensuring that SLAs are achieved.
• Track turnaround times and quality metrics, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Identify process deficiencies, document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and spearhead internal training initiatives.
• Handle escalations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Supervise credentialing expirables while aiding in workload balancing and capacity planning.
• Share performance insights with managers, team members, and fellow Team Leads.
• Compile ad hoc reports and conduct operational analyses.
• Facilitate direct client engagement.
• Coach, mentor, train, and manage the team of Credentialing Specialists and Operations Analysts.
• Ensure compliance with NCQA standards, state regulations, and client specifications.
• Conduct daily standup meetings and weekly performance evaluations.
• Lead performance reviews and discussions regarding performance.
• Assist in onboarding and recruitment for the team.
• Identify risks of attrition and address retention challenges.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, engagement, and high performance within the team.
• Report directly to the Credentialing Manager.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in US healthtech and credentialing.
• A minimum of 2 years in a management role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of 5 or more in a production-focused environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and global teams.
• Strong background in client engagement and stakeholder management.
• Metrics-driven approach centered on continuous improvement.
• Ability to balance hands-on execution with long-term operational strategy.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of managing daily performance metrics and ensuring accountability.
• Familiarity with credentialing processes, provider data management, and healthcare compliance is preferred.
• Knowledge of NCQA guidelines and state/federal credentialing regulations.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel Macros, or similar analytical tools.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
