This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical support team within Desktop Services, Network Communications, and other IT areas.

• Enhance service quality through effective collaboration across different functions.

• Mentor team members and execute technical solutions that address essential business requirements.

• Ensure that service standards are consistently upheld.

• Provide strategic leadership to the team.

• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

• Play a role in developing technology solutions that align with Thermo Fisher Scientific’s mission.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing technical staff.

• Preferred areas of study include Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Comprehensive technical expertise in IT infrastructure, desktop services, or network communications.

• Proven experience in project management and service delivery.

• Expertise in team development and performance management.

• Strong focus on customer service and stakeholder relationship management.

• Flexibility to work various shifts as necessary.

• Experience with IT service level management and quality metrics.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Demonstrated capacity to juggle multiple priorities efficiently.

• Experience with adaptable work arrangements.

• Some travel may be necessary.

• Capability to perform computer-related tasks for extended durations.

• Proficient in a variety of computer software applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to adjust to evolving conditions.
