This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Deliver virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) and Orientation & Mobility services to students.
• Assist students in gaining visual access to curriculum and online educational resources.
• Collaborate with IEP teams, educators, families, and related service providers.
• Facilitate accommodations and the provision of accessible educational materials.
• Instruct on Braille, assistive technology, and visual access strategies as needed.
• Aid in the development of orientation, mobility, navigation, and independent living skills.
• Engage in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration efforts.
• Keep timely documentation, including progress notes and compliance records.
• Possess an active Colorado CDE certification with an endorsement as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired.
• Certification in Orientation and Mobility (O&M) is mandatory.
• Prior experience working with K–12 students is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and collaborative abilities.
• Capable of delivering effective services in a fully remote setting.
• Comfortable managing an independent, flexible part-time caseload.
• Have a passion for supporting students with visual impairments.
• Competitive hourly compensation of up to $60/hour.
