Teacher, Digital Accounting – DATEV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Instruct beginners in the basics of financial accounting and accounting principles following an established curriculum.

• Deliver hands-on training in DATEV, focusing on transaction postings, receipt and invoice recording, and report generation.

• Cover essential accounting topics including double-entry bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, VAT, and preparation for year-end closing.

• Inspire learners and offer tailored support.

• Foster a positive online learning atmosphere.

• Track and document participants' learning progress.

• Collaborate closely with learning and career development teams.

• Assist in the creation of educational content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of financial accounting and accounting principles acquired through relevant vocational training, academic degrees, or continuing education.

• Proficiency in DATEV Rechnungswesen is essential, especially for ongoing financial accounting and transaction postings.

• Practical experience in accounting, financial accounting, or within a tax advisory firm.

• Capability to clearly and engagingly explain complex accounting concepts to beginners.

• Enjoyment in working with individuals.

• Willingness to engage in digital collaboration.

• Excellent command of German and adequate proficiency in English.
