Tax Supervisor – Public Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and authorize financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries prepared by fellow team members.

• Review and endorse individual and business client tax returns before submission.

• Detect and rectify errors or discrepancies in the work completed by staff.

• Act as the final technical review point throughout the accounting/tax process.

• Offer guidance and technical insights to staff accountants.

• Engage directly with clients on intricate or sensitive issues.

• Assist in enhancing and documenting internal review processes and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in public accounting or tax, with a focus on review-level tasks.

• CPA license is mandatory or nearly attained.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and both individual and business tax regulations.

• Proven experience in reviewing others' work, preferably involving remote or offshore team members.

• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setting.
