πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Implement the curriculum for tax content learning related to Canada and the U.S.

β€’ Research and propose tax topics for podcast episodes.

β€’ Identify, schedule, prepare, and coordinate suitable guests.

β€’ Develop interview preparation materials, foundational research, and questions for interviews.

β€’ Assist hosts during interviews through live production, time management, follow-up inquiries, fact-checking, and monitoring audio quality.

β€’ Aim to host episodes following onboarding and training.

β€’ Review raw audio and conduct content-focused edits.

β€’ Ensure content is engaging, concise, accurate, and aligned with educational objectives.

β€’ Draft episode descriptions, quiz questions, speaker bios, glossary terms, visual aids, and other episode-related text.

β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders, hosts, and team members while exploring new processes and systems.

β€’ Report directly to the Manager of Technical Education.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A recognized accounting designation such as CPA or CA.

β€’ 3–5 years of experience in U.S. taxation, preferably in public accounting.

β€’ Familiarity with C corporations, flow-through entities, individuals, estates, trusts, or gifts.

β€’ Capability to explain tax concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

β€’ Ability to research and swiftly learn unfamiliar tax topics.

β€’ Critical thinking and sound judgment in selecting and presenting tax subjects.

β€’ Skill in managing multiple stakeholders, schedules, and team contributions.

β€’ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across various podcasts.

β€’ Ability to ensure content is factual, easily digestible, and enjoyable.

β€’ Proactive in anticipating issues and proposing enhancements.

β€’ Comfort with speaking in front of a microphone.

β€’ Previous audio production experience is not mandatory.
