Tax Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee tax engagements and act as a reliable advisor for clients.

• Cultivate strong connections with rapidly expanding businesses, accomplished entrepreneurs, and family offices.

• Provide exceptional tax compliance and consulting services.

• Handle quarterly tax projections and address ad hoc client requests.

• Coordinate and supervise the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns.

• Guarantee accurate and timely filing of tax submissions.

• Identify and apply process enhancements in tax operations.

• Offer expert guidance and assistance to clients.

• Maintain availability during standard business hours, such as 9am to 5pm, to address client inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Tax.

• CPA certification or CPA candidate status (REQUIRED).

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting (REQUIRED).

• Background in a client-facing capacity.

• Proficient in communicating with business leaders through email, phone, and video conferencing.

• Tech-savvy; capable of learning new software and comfortable with technology in general.

• Ability to work independently.

• Competence in coaching and training associates.

• Familiarity with CCH Axcess (preferred).

• Experience with SafeSend Suite (preferred).

• Previous experience with small to medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, startups, family offices, and individual owners (preferred).

• Available to work during standard business hours, such as 9am to 5pm.
