Tax Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee tax engagements and act as a reliable advisor.

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients.

• Provide exceptional tax compliance and consulting services to an expanding client portfolio.

• Supervise the preparation and delivery of quarterly tax projections along with ad hoc client requests.

• Coordinate and oversee the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns.

• Guarantee accurate and timely submission of all tax filings.

• Identify and implement opportunities for enhancing tax procedures.

• Offer expert guidance and support to clients.

• Maintain regular communication with rapidly growing businesses, successful entrepreneurs, and family offices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Taxation.

• CPA certification or CPA candidate (REQUIRED).

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting (REQUIRED).

• Proven experience in a client-facing role, effectively communicating with business leaders via email, phone, and video calls.

• Tech-savvy; capable of learning new software and comfortable with technology in general.

• Independent worker.

• Ability to mentor and train associates.

• Available to work during standard business hours (e.g., 9am to 5pm) to respond to client inquiries.

• Experience with CCH Axcess (preferred).

• Familiarity with SafeSend Suite (preferred).

• Previous experience working with small to medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, startups, family offices, and individual owners (preferred).
