This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Tax Data Specialist team in managing queues, handling escalations, and providing subject-matter expertise.
• Oversee workload distribution, case assignments, and adjustments.
• Provide support for escalated Sev 1 and Sev 2 cases.
• Evaluate cases for quality assurance, reopened cases for initial closure chances, and aged cases for resolution.
• Aid team members in reviewing and resolving PBI reports.
• Support or assign tasks for high-touch/high-profile clients.
• Identify potential enhancements and assist in the enhancement process.
• Report patterns and opportunities to leadership.
• Deliver tax service support to OSV clients.
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports and data requests within strict deadlines.
• Provide guidance, instruction, and training as a functional subject matter expert.
• Assist with day-to-day tasks and special team initiatives.
• Respond to internal and external customers in a professional and timely manner.
• Achieve quality and production targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with tax services and other internal departments on payroll tax processes.
• Analyze tax and payroll data at both employer and employee levels.
• Associate's degree or higher (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in Payroll Tax.
• Knowledge and experience with multistate tax jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with QA programs and techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Data analytics capabilities.
• Understanding of tax rules and requirements.
• Strong research and follow-up abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters in a fast-paced environment.
