Tax Data Analytics Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all activities related to pay functions, including payment operations, collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance quality.

• Work with the Team Manager to identify areas for system improvements.

• Act as the primary point of escalation for both customer and internal inquiries related to tax analytics.

• Provide guidance, training, and direction to the team.

• Support daily operations as well as special projects for the team.

• Conduct regular audits of tax balancing activities and reconciliation communications.

• Reconcile payroll and taxes across all US tax jurisdictions on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.

• Apply credits based on the reconciliation of taxes submitted on behalf of clients.

• Investigate, research, and validate tax discrepancies and out-of-balance issues.

• Communicate with clients regarding tax discrepancies and document necessary resolution steps in Workday.

• Ensure compliance with requirements set forth by tax authorities.

• Analyze tax and payroll data at both employer and employee levels to support informed decision-making.

• Gather data and perform calculations to identify optimal resolutions.

• Prepare quarterly and annual reconciliation reports.

• Deliver reconciliation reports via the OSV tax portal.

• Clarify funding reconciliation to clients through conference calls or the communication case system and secure approval for further collections or refunds.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Payroll Tax.

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Flexible working hours to accommodate customer needs; overtime may be necessary.

• Strong grasp of payroll processes and procedures.

• Basic computer literacy.

• Strong mathematical skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple interruptions.

• Ability to make independent decisions.

• Experience working with complex, high-profile clients is desirable.

• Preferred: Certification in Workday.

• Preferred: Accounting Certification.

• Preferred: CPP/FPC Certification.

• Preferred: Experience in payroll outsourcing.

• Preferred: Knowledge of payroll and tax regulations.
