This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Independently perform data reconciliation and assist with the area’s accounting closing process.
• Design and manage data pipelines and automation processes, ensuring quality and monitoring through testing.
• Gather data, pinpoint sources, and guarantee the integrity of information.
• Execute intermediate to advanced analyses, integrating various sources to detect anomalies, resolve ambiguous business queries, and extract insights.
• Create and enhance interactive dashboards and reports, recommending metrics and visual representations.
• Identify financial discrepancies and erroneous flows in databases like the Ledger, investigate underlying causes, and initiate corrective measures.
• Provide support for internal and external audits by organizing datasets and supporting evidence.
• Work collaboratively with Accounting, Product, Regulatory, and other teams to comprehend analytical requirements and propose solutions.
• Proficient in advanced SQL: including complex queries, query optimization, window functions, and stored procedures.
• Experience in creating and maintaining dashboards and reports using BI tools (Looker, Power BI, or similar).
• Knowledge of data modeling for BI (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
• Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python, with the ability to enhance scripts or pipelines.
• Familiar with data transformation processes (ETL/ELT) and ensuring the quality and observability of pipelines.
• Experience with terminal tools, such as gcloud.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data and Metrics.
• Advanced analytical abilities and capability to convert complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and business audiences.
• Prior experience in fintech, banking, or financial markets is preferred.
• Familiarity with BigQuery, Databricks, or Google Apps Script is preferred.
• Knowledge of applied statistics is preferred.
• Experience with code version control using Git is preferred.
• Experience in accounting and regulatory topics is preferred.
