This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify current and future staffing requirements.
• Anticipate workforce trends and create proactive recruiting strategies to fill talent shortages.
• Provide insights on the talent market, candidate availability, and best hiring practices.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process from initial intake through to the offer stage.
• Implement and manage screening, interviewing, and candidate selection processes.
• Ensure a consistent, efficient, and high-quality experience for all hiring processes.
• Discover and utilize new and diverse sourcing channels.
• Build strong talent pipelines through both tactical and strategic sourcing efforts.
• Actively seek out passive candidates and nurture relationships for current and future job openings.
• Engage in workforce forecasting and recruitment planning activities.
• Create and implement recruitment strategies that align with the organization's business priorities.
• Enhance recruitment processes and improve hiring results.
• Lead or contribute to talent acquisition projects and initiatives.
• Manage a substantial volume of requisitions across various job types and complexity levels.
• Maintain excellent organization and follow-through in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of HR experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 4 years of recruiting experience with a High School Diploma/GED is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience is necessary for consideration as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist.
• Strong skills in relationship-building and consultative partnership.
• Ability to handle competing priorities and manage a high volume of requisitions.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing, engaging, and hiring high-impact talent.
• Commitment to inclusive hiring practices and maintaining diverse talent pipelines.
• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Virginia and North Carolina.
• Strong preference for candidates residing within 50 miles of Virginia Beach, VA.
