Systems Solutions Consultant, Pharmacy Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive solution management for pharmacy automation and outpatient pharmacy portfolios.

• Emphasize customer experience throughout the pre-sales and post-implementation phases.

• Advise customers on the implementation and enhancement of retail, ambulatory, and long-term care pharmacy automation solutions.

• Conduct in-depth assessments of current customer states and formulate persuasive future-state proposals that align with strategic goals.

• Examine medication management and supply chain workflows.

• Pinpoint inefficiencies, safety issues for patients/providers, opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost savings, regulatory compliance, and drug diversion.

• Revamp workflows and suggest practice modifications and BD solutions.

• Offer clinical consulting support and create tailored strategic BD solution roadmaps for customers.

• Maintain engagement as the strategic point of contact during the entire customer lifecycle.

• Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Product Research and Development, Interface, Implementation and Support, Customer Advocacy, and Training teams.

• Contribute clinical insights for new product development and software improvements.

• Assist in implementation efforts and ensure customers maximize solutions to fulfill strategic objectives.

• Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and operate independently in remote office settings.

• Guide internal staff on best practices based on demonstrated results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare or pharmacy-related operations is necessary.

• Must reside in CO, NM, AZ, CA, NV, OR, WA, MN, ID, WY, or UT.

• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including some nights and weekends.

• Must be located within one hour of a major airport.

• A valid state-issued driver’s license is required, with a minimum of 3 years of consecutive driving history and compliance with BD’s auto safety standards.

• Preferred experience in long-term care.

• An advanced degree or certifications in pharmacy automation are advantageous.

• Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with the healthcare sector, medication management, pharmacy and materials management workflows, and BD’s pharmacy automation dispensing solution is essential.

• Background in retail/outpatient pharmacy operations and workflow design is important.

• Strong presentation skills and exceptional business writing abilities are necessary.
