Azure Integration Engineer – Fixed Term Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver prompt and effective break-fix support, addressing system issues and reducing downtime according to established Service Level Agreements, including out-of-hours assistance when necessary.

• Oversee the performance, availability, and capacity of Azure services.

• Enhance infrastructure and code to boost reliability and efficiency.

• Provide third-line support for Azure customer identity and integration services.

• Implement and sustain real-time monitoring and proactive alerting across applications and supporting infrastructure.

• Assist in incident response by identifying, investigating, and resolving issues while highlighting potential risks to service availability.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and aid in patching, system hardening, and implementation of security measures.

• Operate in accordance with Information Security Policies, Azure Security Benchmark, and CIS controls.

• Offer technical guidance to development teams to ensure applications and services are secure, robust, and maintainable.

• Collaborate on new projects, releases, and service enhancements to meet customer identity and integration requirements.

• Report to the Azure Engineering Manager within the Service department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience delivering high-quality break-fix support in a dynamic environment and maintaining complex cloud-based systems to ensure their availability and performance.

• Strong expertise in managing Azure subscriptions, resources, and applications.

• Extensive background with Azure AD B2C, including customer identity management, user and group administration, custom attributes, user flows, and UX/UI customization.

• Familiarity with OpenID, OAuth 2.0, and SAML 2.0, along with experience utilizing Microsoft Graph API and MSAL for identity management.

• Experience in creating intricate and customized Azure AD B2C user flows and custom policies, including claims providers, technical profiles, and the Identity Experience Framework.

• Strong understanding of SSL certificates, identity security, and cloud security best practices.

• Experience managing Azure API Management (APIM), including securing APIs and facilitating cloud-to-cloud integrations.

• Practical development experience with C#, Azure Functions, and Web Apps.

• Experience utilizing Azure Blob Storage, Application Insights, and monitoring tools to support reliable cloud services.

• Extensive experience in building and automating CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient delivery from development to production.

• Hands-on experience integrating and maintaining SonarCloud and Zed Attack Proxy (ZAP) within CI/CD pipelines to enhance code quality and security scanning.

• This role is UK-based and must be performed within the UK.
