This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Sales team as a technical and solutions-oriented partner.
• Convert laboratory, technology, and operational requirements into clearly defined solutions.
• Aid in client discovery, scoping, estimating, proposal, and Statement of Work (SOW) development, as well as facilitate the transition of awarded projects to Services.
• Organize internal communication while gathering and documenting requirements.
• Create and uphold precise client quotes based on scope, assumptions, resources, pricing guidelines, and delivery inputs.
• Support client discovery and scoping discussions by posing technical and solution-oriented questions.
• Interpret client needs and technical specifications into proposed solutions that encompass scope, deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, resources, and effort levels.
• Oversee the review of proposed solutions by Services and subject-matter experts.
• Lead the technical segments of client scope and solution presentations.
• Address client inquiries and refine scope in collaboration with Sales.
• Identify technical, operational, integration, resource, and implementation factors that could impact scope, timelines, costs, or delivery.
• Facilitate the transition of awarded projects from Sales to Services.
• Develop, revise, and maintain client quotes.
• Coordinate the review and approval process for pricing, resources, assumptions, margins, and exceptions.
• Assist with proposals, SOWs, and client-oriented sales documentation.
• Keep documentation of quote assumptions, revisions, and approvals updated.
• Enhance scoping and quoting processes, tools, templates, and efficiency.
• Support technical discussions with clients, presentations, solution walkthroughs, and pre-sales activities.
• Respond to client inquiries and offer recommendations based on JTG capabilities and industry knowledge.
• Transform technical laboratory IT concepts into business and operational value.
• Assist Sales in addressing technical questions and managing client objections.
• Attend onsite client meetings, workflow assessments, conferences, industry events, and other sales-related activities.
• Provide subject matter expertise for Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and inquiries from prospective clients.
• Develop reusable solution engineering materials, technical content, solution descriptions, scoping tools, quoting resources, and sales materials.
• Stay informed about JTG service offerings, capabilities, delivery models, expertise, laboratory IT market trends, technologies, vendor solutions, and competitive offerings.
• Execute other assigned tasks and projects.
• Bachelor's Degree (mandatory).
• Experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in Laboratory Information Systems.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Clinical Processes.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in solution engineering or Health Information Technology (HIT) Implementation.
• Proven experience in developing scopes, estimates, quotes, proposals, and Statements of Work for professional or technical services.
• Experience in coordinating client requirements across Sales, technical subject-matter experts, and service delivery teams.
• Knowledge of clinical standards, documentation methods, and current practices.
• Demonstrated technical abilities and skills related to all computer-related activities.
• Ability to comprehend laboratory-related computer applications and learn and apply new applications and programs.
• Understanding of HIPAA, PHI security considerations, and compliance with healthcare data regulations.
• Familiarity with clinical standards, clinical processes, laboratory workflows, documentation methods, existing practices, and regulations for clinical labs, including FDA, CAP, CLIA, AABB, and HIPAA.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Ability to work safely in active laboratory settings around biological specimens, chemicals, and other laboratory hazards, equipped with appropriate training and protective gear.
• Proficiency in multitasking within a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Experience with Dynamics 365.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365.
• Capability to work remotely.
• Residing within the Central or Eastern time zones.
• Expected travel of 25% to 50%, varying based on client engagements and business needs.
