Systems Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete integration process of new client offices, including planning, on-site execution, and post-implementation support.

• Carry out both on-site and remote evaluations of client environments to identify their infrastructure requirements.

• Install, configure, and test network devices, such as firewalls, switches, and wireless access points, in addition to servers and personal computers.

• Organize and manage on-site integration tasks, collaborating and directing local or client-side personnel.

• Ensure that integrations meet client standards, adhere to security protocols, and follow managed service provider best practices.

• Diagnose and resolve challenges faced during deployments and integrations.

• Relay updates, risks, and completion status to internal teams and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to facilitate the transition to helpdesk or managed services teams after successful integration.

• Perform additional responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including some weekends.

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, Management & Information Sciences, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience within the dental industry is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of networking principles, hardware, and infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, switching, wireless).

• Proven experience in deploying and maintaining servers, PCs, and associated hardware.

• Good knowledge of operating systems, software applications, and networked environments.

• Ability to assess environments, identify deficiencies, and propose suitable solutions.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, particularly in a role with extensive travel.

• Comfortable working autonomously and making decisions in the field.

• Strong communication abilities, effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Readiness and capability to travel frequently to client locations.

• Previous experience in an IT managed service provider environment is preferred.

• Experience with office build-outs, relocations, or multi-site integrations is required.

• Knowledge of quoting or project scoping for infrastructure deployments.

• Experience in coordinating with third-party vendors or local technical resources.
