Systems Engineer / SysOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Establish the groundwork for the Windows 10 platform prior to migrations.

• Enhance the end-user computing environment through flexible working arrangements, security enhancements, Windows platform design, and the integration of Intune and Autopilot.

• Set up VDI solutions.

• Execute Office 365 platforms and roll out OneDrive, SharePoint, and Exchange.

• Transition data from on-premises file servers to OneDrive or SharePoint.

• Move on-premises Exchange email to Exchange Online, while managing identities and data transfer.

• Evaluate new requirements, optimize services, automate processes, and create scripts.

• Ensure Linux infrastructure remains operational in an IaaS setting.

• Standardize, automate, and enhance Linux operations tasks.

• Automate deployments, configuration management, monitoring, and updates within a DevOps framework.

• Deploy and manage Linux clusters utilizing Kubernetes and Docker in a PaaS environment.

• Automate the addition of nodes and oversee image resources and repositories.

• Upgrade Windows Server 2008 R2 servers to Windows Server 2016 or 2019.

• Implement SaaS solutions within Azure.

• Oversee the unification of SCCM infrastructures in a shared-services context.

• Participate in Squad activities, including internal projects, workshops, conferences, business development efforts, recruitment initiatives, and the writing of expert articles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required experience: 5 to 8 years.

• Proficiency in the administration and operation of Windows and/or Linux systems.

• Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, and DevOps environments.

• Expertise in or experience with Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, and Jenkins.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.

• Skills in automation, scripting, configuration management, monitoring, and system updates.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and SaaS solutions.

• Understanding of Windows 10 and Windows Server versions 2008 R2, 2016, and 2019.

• Familiarity with Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.

• Knowledge of Azure AD Connect, BitTitan, SCCM, Intune, and Autopilot.
