Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design and implement automation controls and information solutions in real-time.

• Engage in conceptualization during the project design phase.

• Program, troubleshoot, and validate systems.

• Produce engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documents, case studies, and other necessary documentation.

• Commission new solutions at client locations while identifying areas for improvement.

• Develop methodologies and address complex challenges.

• Acquire knowledge of emerging technologies.

• Provide mentorship to colleagues in relevant areas of expertise.

• Create real-time automation solutions from the manufacturing plant floor to the enterprise level.

• Work with PLC/PAC programming, HMI application design, SCADA design, network design, database design, and vision system design.

• Collaborate with clients to resolve manufacturing and industrial information challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or imminent completion of a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering Technology degree.

• Academic or practical experience with some or all of the specified technologies.

• Detail-oriented, conscientious, analytical, focused, self-motivated individual who is a quick learner.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Full-time access to a personal vehicle.

• Must reside in eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland.

• Willingness to travel 30–50% across PA, NJ, NY, DE, and MD.
