Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable, cloud-native demonstration environments, use-case scenarios, and value propositions for the product pillar.

• Actively engage in infrastructure-as-code and automated provisioning pipelines.

• Construct robust, automated, and temporary evaluation environments that replicate intricate, real-world customer architectures.

• Establish technical evaluation use cases, success metrics, and best practices.

• Revise evaluation guidelines and automation scripts as the product progresses.

• Assume the role of technical lead for new product launches within the designated pillar.

• Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to deliver technical resources, automation scripts, and reliable cloud environments for large-scale demonstrations.

• Oversee the health and utilization of shared technical environments.

• Detect execution gaps, environmental instability, and technical challenges.

• Initiate corrective measures through code refactoring, pipeline enhancements, and infrastructure optimization.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, and GTM Strategy teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Solutions Engineering, or another highly technical role.

• Profound hands-on knowledge in identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM), or related enterprise security platforms.

• Proven experience in deploying, managing, or integrating with CyberArk Secrets Manager (formerly Conjur) for secrets management and DevOps security processes.

• Advanced expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP), encompassing containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and scaling distributed enterprise systems.

• Established experience in constructing, deploying, and managing infrastructure-as-code utilizing tools like Terraform or Ansible.

• Experience in deploying, managing, or integrating AI tools and autonomous AI agents within cloud infrastructure or development workflows.

• Advanced system administration capabilities across Windows and *nix systems, with strong command-line interface (CLI) proficiency and troubleshooting skills.

• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation, API integration, and CI/CD processes.

• Experience in architecting, supporting, or leading intricate, automated lab/demo environments or sandbox platforms is highly desirable.

• Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to translate business strategies into scalable, automated technical implementations.

• Ability to establish credibility while working alongside senior field architects, sales engineers, and cross-functional core engineering teams.

• Comfortable functioning as a senior individual contributor in a fast-paced, highly technical matrixed setting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for articulating complex architectural designs to both technical and business audiences.
