Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kyrgyzstan.

📋 Description

• Take charge of all technical aspects throughout the sales cycle, starting from initial RFIs to RFPs and RFQs as necessary.

• Oversee project activities and actively engage in proofs of concept alongside internal teams, customers, and commercial partners.

• Understand and listen to customer technical needs to develop competitive solutions.

• Act as the main technical contact for customers and partners, collaborating closely with the sales partner.

• Continuously enhance knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions while staying informed about the competitive landscape.

• Present Fortinet solutions both remotely and in person through whiteboarding sessions, technical white papers, technical plans, and discussions with customers.

• Effectively manage time across multiple concurrent deals while ensuring a positive customer experience.

• Keep accurate records of activities, contacts, and technical information for customers and prospects in Salesforce CRM.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Strong aptitude for security technology, particularly in encryption and authentication.

• Additional knowledge in network security, intrusion detection, antivirus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN is preferred.

• CISSP certification is advantageous.

• Relevant experience in a pre-sales engineer role, overseeing the technical aspects of deals from inception to closure.

• Proven problem-solving capabilities and a record of significant contributions to key wins.

• Ability to cultivate and sustain customer relationships.

• Proficient in communicating technical information to a variety of external and internal stakeholders.

• Solid understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
