Systems Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop automation solutions that operate in real-time, spanning from the manufacturing plant floor to enterprise-level systems.

• Design and implement real-time automation controls and information systems.

• Engage actively during the design phase of the project lifecycle.

• Program, troubleshoot, and validate systems.

• Produce project engineering notes, proposals, traceability documentation, case studies, and other relevant documents.

• Deploy new solutions on client sites and pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Formulate methodologies and address complex challenges.

• Acquire knowledge of new technologies.

• Provide mentorship to colleagues in areas of expertise.

• Utilize PLC and PAC programming, HMI application design, SCADA design, network design, database design, vision system design, machine safety system design, servo motion control, information solution design, MES design, ERP connector development, and high-level software solution design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or anticipated completion of a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related Engineering Technology field.

• 6–8+ years of hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA/HMI, networking, databases, motion, safety, or advanced programming.

• Academic or industry experience with Ignition (Vision & Perspective), Allen-Bradley, and/or Beckhoff TwinCAT is highly preferred.

• Detail-oriented, meticulous, analytical, focused, and capable of quickly grasping complex systems.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to travel locally with occasional day trips.
