Systems Administrator, IT Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Ensure the seamless functioning of Azure-hosted infrastructure, identity and access management, and security services.

• Oversee virtual machines, backups, VPNs, and Azure policies.

• Administer Entra ID, Active Directory, Conditional Access, and Zscaler.

• Manage certificate lifecycles and patching processes using DigiCert, DCV, and Azure Key Vault.

• Construct and deliver infrastructure as code using Terraform and Git pull request workflows.

• Integrate AI tools like Claude into IT workflows.

• Lead infrastructure projects utilizing Jira and Confluence.

• Collaborate closely with IT support and security teams.

• Address complex incidents efficiently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Experience in administering Windows Server and Linux within Azure-based environments.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Azure.

• Proficient in Terraform and infrastructure as code (essential).

• Comfortable using Git and pull request workflows.

• Familiarity with networking, TLS certificates, logging, and monitoring.

• Capability to automate tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages.

• Project management experience, particularly with Jira and Confluence.

• Experience with Claude and/or AI workflows.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
