Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the support queue.

• Execute deployment, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery for both hardware and software.

• Install, maintain, secure, and repair hardware and software systems.

• Conduct documentation for infrastructure and applications.

• Evaluate systems and procedures to ensure compliance with established standards.

• Provide technical assistance for issues and modifications.

• Mentor and train fellow team members.

• Lead complex infrastructure projects.

• Stay updated in the technical field through annual training and/or obtaining technical certifications.

• Identify and report on issues effectively.

• Implement infrastructure capacity planning, high-availability systems, disaster recovery plans, system maintenance and patching strategies, system backup protocols, performance monitoring, documentation, and alerts.

• Support business continuity and ensure data security.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.

• Minimum of three years' experience in the relevant area.

• Strong adherence to process discipline.

• Capability to produce clear documentation and adhere to established workflows.

• Solid knowledge of ServiceNow or a structured ticket management system.

• Familiarity with the M365 suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot, and Viva.

• Exposure to Azure, Active Directory, security tools, and Intune is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Ability to frequently lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing 0–25 lbs.

• Capability to occasionally lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing 25–50 lbs.

• Ability to climb occasionally.

• Availability to work day shifts in the United States of America.
