
System Validation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing System Validation team.
• Create software validation plans and strategies based on functional requirements.
• Define and manage validation activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform manual exploratory testing and create automated regression test suites.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and validation infrastructure.
• Configure and manage continuous integration systems.
• Monitor test outcomes and facilitate prompt triage of validation failures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across system, network, hardware, and software layers.
• Establish validation processes, metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems.
• Document validation plans, test procedures, execution results, and release readiness.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, and product engineering teams to address defects.
• Promote ongoing enhancements in validation methodologies, automation, tooling, and best practices.
• Assist in product qualification efforts, customer deployments, and product releases.
• Experience in leading technical teams responsible for the validation and qualification of complex networking, distributed systems, or similar hardware and software platforms.
• Proven track record of building and scaling a system validation organization, including defining processes, automation strategies, tooling, and quality metrics.
• Strong grasp of software validation methodologies, test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and defect management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to collaborate across engineering organizations and present status, risks, and metrics to executive leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize AI technologies for AI-assisted development, intelligent automation, and data-driven analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
• Prior networking experience, such as Omni-Path, InfiniBand, or Ethernet.
• Previous experience in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with testing distributed systems and concepts related to routing/switching.
• Ability to work independently and proactively within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment.
