System Administrator, IT Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee Workleap's Azure infrastructure, which includes virtual machines, backup systems, VPN, and policy management to ensure reliability, security, and availability.

• Manage employee access through Entra ID, Active Directory, Conditional Access, and Zscaler.

• Take charge of the certificate lifecycle and patching processes using DigiCert, DCV, and Azure Key Vault.

• Develop and deploy infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform and Git pull request workflows.

• Integrate AI tools, such as Claude, into IT workflows to automate repetitive tasks and enhance incident resolution speed.

• Lead infrastructure projects within Jira and Confluence.

• Work collaboratively with IT Support and security teams, serving as the escalation point for complex incidents.

• Assist in onboarding new employees and technologies, refining and automating IT processes, and implementing new tools and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Windows Server and Linux administration within Azure-based settings.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Azure.

• Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure as code (mandatory).

• Familiarity with Git and pull request workflows.

• Knowledge of networking, TLS certificates, as well as logging and monitoring practices.

• Ability to automate tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages.

• Project management experience using Jira and Confluence.

• Background with Claude and/or AI workflows.

• Exceptional spoken and written communication abilities.
